You can leave YardNearby from inside the app.
Account export and deletion are available without contacting support.
Delete your account in the app
- Open YardNearby and sign in.
- Tap Profile, then Account settings.
- Under Your privacy, tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Cannot access the app?
Start a secure deletion request using the email connected to the account. YardNearby will verify ownership before deleting any information and will not confirm whether an email has an account.
Before deletion
Active jobs must be completed or cancelled, and open resolutions must be settled. You can export a copy of your account information from the same screen before deleting.
What is removed
Your login, public profile details, profile photo, optional social connections, notification devices, verification uploads, and private support records are removed. Messages you sent are de-identified.
Records that may remain
Completed-job, safety, fraud-prevention, and legally required records may be retained when necessary. Retained records are separated from your public identity when possible. Backup copies may take up to 90 days to expire.
